THE WOOL SHED
THE BRIEF
This bar franchise in Ireland was looking to rebrand from The Woolshed Baa, an Aussie-themed sports bar, to The Wool Shed. They opened in 2003 with an Australasian theme but over the course of a number of years (and a Covid pandemic) their clientele changed.
Matt Hudson, one of the owners reached out to me for help in creating a new brand for their two bars. They were moving away from the green and gold and wanted to refresh their current logo, which was highly illustrative and far too detailed.
THE SOLUTION
The new logo uses a completely bespoke design of a set of ram’s horns, and combines them with a traditional shed shape to leave a beautiful, sturdy logo mark. Using variations of the type treatment, I made a series of different variations of the logo to be used in multiple orientations, including a really strong badge option that looks stunning when printed to something circular like beer mats.
I also helped Matt and the team with the new signage for the front of the two properties.
