On Valentine’s Day 2014 we launched a special web app, in conjunction with heatworld.com called The Love Gun. This simple, social game aimed to get people sparking totally random conversations on Twitter. You simply entered your twitter handle, selected your love preferences, and BAM! The Love Gun pulled a completely random twitter user for you to chat to. The more it was used, the greater the selection was.
I came up with the name (I love the song) and designed the site within a 320px grid, meaning that we didn’t need a single media query to produce a mobile version. It looked pretty darn good on desktop too, and, crucially, worked well, with every user ‘loading’ their Love Gun an average of 9 times a go (if you didn’t like the first option, you could try again).
