In August 2015 a brand new charity founded by doctors burst onto the scene. They needed a new logo and website to showcase the fantastic work they were doing, supporting ground-breaking research into the treatment of head and neck cancers.
I worked for a long time on this logo. I’d had the idea for an ampersand very early on, that would sit between the ‘Head’ and ‘Neck’ portion of the type. But it took endless finessing to come up with an elegant version that still represented the company name. When turned 45 degrees clockwise, the inner portion of the logo spells ‘C’ ‘F’ for ‘Cancer Foundation’ and works beautifully on its own.
