CFA Productions

THE BRIEF
CFA Productions are a professional media company based in Sydney Australia. They offer a range of expert services from, videography, photography and graphic design.

Owner/founder Christopher Fias-ayon approached me to redo his logo, moving away from an existing signature-style logo, into something much more modern which he could use to brand multiple elements of his business and use across a merchandise line.

Chris was keen for a monogram, or at the very least a solid representation of the CFA acronym, that incorporated a little meaning and could be used in one colour.

THE SOLUTION
The new logo is an abstract representation of the letters CFA, which when overlaid on top of each other resemble a video editing timeline and its layers.

Chris was keen for the design to work well in black and white, but he also wanted an accent colour to use across elements like call to actions on his website. We chose purple because this was a colour associated with the timeline in Final Cut Pro, the software predominantly used by his team to edit videos.
